Following the huge success of the first and second series of the reality series program The worlds strictest parents, the BBC is looking for role model families in the Netherlands to take part in a third series of factual entertainment programs on parenting.
The World’s Strictest Parents (or World’s Strictest Parents) is an international television franchise reality series developed by the British production company Twenty Twenty and originally broadcasted in the United Kingdom by BBC Three.
Unruly British teenagers are sent to live with strict families in an experiment to try to change their behaviour. Generally they spend 10 days, later 7 days, with their host parents trying to live by the latter’s rules. In the one-hour program, two British teenagers are sent to live with a family abroad, to experience life in another country under different rules.
Twenty Twenty wants to film in the Netherlands, since the Dutch not only are free-spirited and super tolerant, but also can be still be old-fashioned with traditional family values and community spirit. For the Dutch episode the program is looking for an Dutch orthodox protestant family.
For this program Featurez gave advice, did research to find families and visits the former island Urk to look for Dutch candidate families.
