In The Netherlands not only the authorities organise naturalisation courses for migrants. In the age of privatisation now also companies give the Dutch culture and language course, often in combination with a job. All the migrant newcomers doing the course get a native employee as tutor.
The background reportage program Weltjournal from the Austrian public TV broadcaster ORF produce a reportage about the Dutch naturalisation course. A participant is portrayed doing the cultural- and language course, working at the Dutch postal services and during the presentation of the diplomas for the successful participants of the course. Also the Dutch Minister of Internal Affairs and the spokesperson from the Amsterdam Centre for Foreigners are interviewed.
For this background reportage Featurez did the research, set-up and planning of the filming, booked a camera crew, accompanied the filming, the editing and the satellite transfer of the video material.
