HR-Fernsehen is the name of Hessischer Rundfunk’s regional television programme for the state of Hesse. With an annual market share of 7.2% in 2013, hr-fernsehen ranks fifth among the ARD regional programs, ahead of SWR and RBB, in terms of audience share in the respective broadcasting area.
