3Cat (formerly TV3) is the main channel of the Catalan public broadcaster Televisió de Catalunya, a subsidiary of the Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA). The channel, which broadcast under the name TV3 from 1983 to September 2025, programmes exclusively in Catalan, although some foreign series and films are also available in their original language via a second audio track. The official renaming to 3Cat took place in September 2025, following a previously announced plan in July 2023 to bundle TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio under the new brand name.
