For Greenpeace Switzerland the Dutch economic research bureau Profundo did research after the way tar sand companies are financed by the Swiss banks UBS and Credit Suisse.
Oil sands, tar sands, crude bitumen, or bituminous sands, are a type of unconventional petroleum deposit. Oil sands are either loose sands or partially consolidated sandstone containing a naturally occurring mixture of sand, clay, and water, soaked with bitumen, a dense and extremely viscous form of petroleum.
Reporter Jonas Projer travels to Amsterdam to interview one of the Profundo researchers for a background reportage for the Swiss public TV program ’10 vor 10’.
For this background reportage Featurez gave advice, did the research, booked a cameraman, organised props and accompanied the filming.
