For some time the German economy is not doing so well. The German government wants to stimulate people with social security to take simple low paid part time jobs by giving them serious tax benefits. Through this measure the German authorities expect to create hundred thousand part-time jobs.
In The Netherlands a large percentage of the employees work part-time. The political program Monitor from the German first public TV channel ARD needs interviews the pros and cons of part-time work with a specialist of the Dutch scientific board that advises the government, with a woman that has a part-time job and with her boss.
