The Ukraine Accountability Conference is organized by the Netherlands, the International Criminal Court (ICC), and the European Commission. The conference aims to ensure that those committing war crimes in Ukraine are brought to justice.
The Dutch military police is just back from a mission in Ukraine to research after committed war crimes and to gather evidence. Japanese correspondent Yasuko Takeda visits the Netherlands to attend the conference and to interview the head of the Dutch military police mission to Ukraine to find out how the research turned out in practice, what evidence they found and how difficult it was to work in a country at war.
