The city of Amsterdam is leading the world in ending the obesity epidemic, thanks to a radical and wide-reaching program which is getting results even among the poorest communities that are hardest to reach.
The program appears to be succeeding by hitting multiple targets at the same time: from promoting tap water to after-school activities and refusal of the Amsterdam municipality to receive sponsoring from multinationals like Coca Cola or McDonalds.
TF1 reporter Julien Beaumont visits a primary school in Amsterdam and portrays a young school boy to find out how this successful fight against obesity works in practice.
For this news reportage Featurez proposed the topic, gave advice, did the research, the setup, and planning of the filming, accompanied the filming, did some of the interviews and did translations.
