Featurez is constantly screening the Dutch media and society for interesting subjects to cover. A few times a year Featurez sends around newsletters with articles on actual Dutch issues and long-lasting themes. In a direct and personal way Featurez gathers complete background information on practically any topic. The fundament for a high-quality reportage- and documentary production is created in offering in-depth information and in finding the right approach, storyline(s), interviewees and locations. We needed we can do research on location and meet protagonists in advance of coverage.

Throughout the years Featurez became very experienced in accompany persons- and locations research (recce’s) of foreign crews. We can book a rental a car, but also do extra research and set up and plan the recce.

After an okay on the approach and planning Featurez sets up and plans your filming days from minute to minute. The progress on the research and setup will be reported to you regularly, rounded up with a sound and extensive ‘Featurez Filming Agenda’ with all times, needed data and information. Apart from this (post) story production gets special attention by informing the story contacts on progress, broadcasting dates, and sending around video links or DVD’s with the final product.

Featurez offers dedicated and all-round accompaniment. We take care that filming happens smoothly, and that both crew and people in the field are happy. We can drive a rental car or van, give advice, translate, do Dutch interviews when necessary, and ‘shoot the trouble’ when needed.

During a recce or filming Featurez can provide translations during meetings and interviews. Besides this Featurez has over 30 years of experience to translate interviews from Dutch to English after the filming. We can also help on distance to check translations and selecting exact quotes during editing.

In close collaboration Featurez can book a high- quality camera crew and direct the filming for you, including news- or in-depth interviews. The progress on the set-up will be reported to you regularly and the complete and well-cared-for ‘footage’ will be delivered to you via FTP- or satellite feed, accompanied with all the needed story data and -information, and translations when needed.

Featurez has a network with a wide variety of freelance camera- and sound people, editors and drone operators.

Over the years Featurez has been advising clients on the best and most convenient hotels in Amsterdam and in the rest of the Netherlands.

When needed Featurez can book high quality rental cars or rental vans for a reduced price at a local car rental company. We have more than 30 years of experience in driving rental cars and/or rental van.s

For larger productions Featurez can book extra drivers to drive rental cars – and or – vans.

In case it is needed Featurez has a database of experienced Dutch fixers that can take over some of the activities or even complete productions. We have also worked many times with camera assistants, production assistants, runners and gaffers.

Over the years Featurez has researched and organised camera- and lighting rental equipment in the Netherlands for various TV productions.

Featurez has a lot of experience in researching and organising archive video footage in Dutch archives.
