Fundamentalist leader Metin Kaplan untraceable

Muhammed Metin Kaplan is a Turkish Muslim fundamentalist leader also known as the ´Kalief from Cologne´. While living in Germany he wants to change the Turkish system into an orthodox Islam state.

Since there is a chance that Kaplan will be deported to Turkey, where he is seen as the mastermind behind a foiled super-attack, the German police decides to arrest him. When they arrive at his home Kaplan disappeared. Since the ´Kalief from Cologne´ also has organisations in The Netherlands, it is expected he escaped to The Netherlands.

In the Netherlands, the Kaplan movement is left untouched, although its activities continue to expand. Various foundations protect the capital of Kaplan, preacher of jihad and advocate of killing all infidels.

Some of the Kaplan followers live in the city Os in the south of the Netherlands. The Brussels bureau from the first German public TV channel ARD wants to broad cast a report about the Kaplan movement in the Netherlands and to find out if Muslim fundamentalist escaped to the Netherlands.

For this news reportage Featurez research, set-up and planning of the filming and did the direction and interviews.
