The bad memory pill

A drug commonly used to treat high blood pressure may help people erase bad memories and even treat phobias, a team of Dutch scientists say.

Lead researcher Dr Merel Kindt, a psychologist at the University of Amsterdam, says the generic drug propranolol, a beta-blocker, significantly weakened people’s fearful memories of spiders among a group of healthy volunteers who took it.

The program nightline from the American TV channel ABC wants to broadcast a reportage about the bad memory pill.

For this reportage Featurez gave advice, did the research, set-up, planning and accompanied filming.
