The World’s Strictest Parents (or World’s Strictest Parents) is an international television franchise reality series developed by the British production company Twenty Twenty and originally broadcasted in the United Kingdom by BBC Three.
Unruly British teenagers are sent to live with strict families in an experiment to try to change their behaviour. Generally they spend 10 days, later 7 days, with their host parents trying to live by the latter’s rules.
In the one-hour program, two British teenagers are sent to live with a family abroad, to experience life in another country under different rules. While the filming of the teenagers visiting a Dutch family is already taking place, a location for voluntary work for one of the protagonists has to be found.
