On Friday 31 August 2018 a 19-year-old Afghan refugee stabs two American tourists in the Amsterdam central train station. He was shot just nine seconds after he launched his attack, because he was already spotted by police.
His lawyer believes the teenager had been acting in response to a cartoon competition proposed by anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders, as well as an earlier video involving the Prophet Muhammad.
ABC foreign correspondent James Longman is send to Amsterdam to find out what exactly happened.
For this news production Featurez gave advice, did research and set up of the filming, organised permission to film in the Amsterdam central station and accompany the filming.
