SECRET INTOXICATION BY GHB

Last month a drug addict’s care organisation raised the alarm about the intoxication of people in bars and discotheques. Often a drug called GHB is secretly put in drinks to numb and rape women. That’s why the drug is also called the ‘rape-drug’.

GHB, once used as an anaesthetic, is often used on sex-parties. The drug throws away one's inhibitions and enforced the urge to have sex. The dosage requires precision. Especially in combination with alcohol the drug can be lethal. After taking an overdose people went into a coma and even died.

Often personnel of bars and discotheques doubt if GHB is used. They just think the people are very drunk. A young woman had the nightmare of her life. After probably being intoxicated by GHB, she ended up paralyzed and asked for an ambulance. While she had difficulties to breath, the bouncers told her she should not play the idiot. No ambulance came. Friends helped her, and after two days of sleep she reported the abuse to the police. The perpetrator was never caught. more features
