SECRET NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY SMUGGLED FROM EUROPE

In an interview with the newspaper The Washington Post the Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf says that especially the Europeans pass on information to countries which want to make nuclear weapons.

Musharraf admitted that some Pakistanis had been involved in supplying secret knowledge concerning nuclear matter to for example Libya and Iran , but that the majority of those persons comes from Europe . He said that he has seen the information of the international nuclear energy agency (IAEA) on smuggling nuclear knowledge personally. Musharraf said that his country has taken strict measures to prevent nuclear technology comes in possession of other countries again.

The Dutch ministers Bot (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Brinkhorst (Ministry of Economic Affairs) wrote to the House of Commons that the technology for the enrichment of uranium with ultracentrifuges of a Dutch company has not only arrived in Pakistan and in Iran , but possibly also in North Korea and Libya . According to the Ministers the Dutch enrichment technology is also used to establish the Iranian Nuclear program.

Probably the Dutch nuclear technology 'has been taken along' in the seventies of the last century by a Pakistani research worker who worked in The Netherlands. Later the same man became the ' father ' of the Pakistani nuclear bomb. Possibly Pakistan shared the knowledge with Iran, North Korea and Libya. more features
