AYAAN HIRSI ALI LIED TO DUTCH AUTHORITIES

The Dutch Minister of Immigration declared that the famous member of parliament Ayaan Hirsi Ali got the Dutch nationality unlawfully. It turns out that Ayaan Hirsi Ali gave a false name, a false birth date and a false story when she requested asylum in The Netherlands. Her real name is Ayaan Hirsi Magan and her real birth date 13th November 1969.During an emiotnal press conference yesterday afternoon, Ayaan Hirsi Magan resigned from the liberal party.

Since she lied to the Dutch authorities jurisprudence says that she will probably not have obtained the Dutch nationality officially. Last year an Iraqi family was send back because they used false names as well. It does not mean that Hirsi Magan will be expelled. Since she got here residence permit in 1992, the Dutch law says that it can not be taken away anymore after twelve years.

Last monday Ayaan Hirsi Magan announced that she took on a job in a the American conservative think tank American Enterprise Institute from the 1 of September. The ex-Dutch Minister if Immigration that stirred up the case, stated yesterday evening that Hirsi Magan might have difficulties to enter the United States when it is known that she never had the Dutch nationality.

The producer of the film Submission is totally disillusioned in the Dutch society. In a talk show he stated that the Dutch are committing ‘legal murder’ on Hirsi Magan. He said that the Dutch should now hand in their passports. Also the liberal party VVD is confused. Some members are relieved that the prominent and controversial politician will leave the Dutch politics now, others regret the latest developments and her departure from Dutch society.

The Dutch European commissioner Nelie Smit Kroes is embarrassed since she knew that Hirsi Magan had been lying to the Dutch Authorities. Besides this TV-interviews were shown on Dutch TV were she clearly states that Hirsi Magan experienced 5 civil wars, which is absolutely untrue. Kroes is astonished about the attitude of her part member and minister of Immigration Rita Verdonk: ‘If I see what Hirsi Ali gave up in her private life, than this is inconceivable. I hope that (the people in) The Netherlands understands what they are doing.’

Hirsi Magan is speechless after she heard that she might not have the Dutch nationality at all. She called the measure of her party member and Minister Verdonk an effort to silence her. She states in the American Newspaper The `New York Times that she has always done everything with great devotion taking many risks and that other people would think twice before they would speak out like this. The German newspaper Die Welt criticized the way the Dutch handle Hirsi Magan. They call her near future departure to The US as an escape. more features
