DUTCH START FIGHTING THE FIGHT AGAINST SPEED CONTROLS

Since a few years many speed cameras in Holland are vandalised. People burn them, shoot at them, fill them with insulation material or spray them pink. The Dutch Ministery of Justice just announced that vandalism against speed cameras has to be brought back

The Dutch Flash poles will get extra protection so vandals can be caught in the act. The big well-known grey speed cameras will get smoke-, heat- and vibration sensors.

The tuf-tuf-club is an organisation that notifies other motorists where static and mobile speed cameras are placed and on their internet site they regularly show pictures of the latest destroyed speed cameras. Who will win the battle? more features
